I am extremely confident that if we refrain from politicising investment promotion and reassure investors that TN will ensure policy continuity and consistently follow up on necessary clearances, then every single MoU that the #DravidianModel govt under our Thalaivar @mkstalin signed will be grounded in TN creating millions of #JobsForTN.

At the same time I also urge the new govt and everyone responsible to understand that we need to reassure the investment fraternity that TamilNadu will remain the most favoured destination due to it’s professional approach to Investment Promotion, EoDB and rapid Policy updates/tweaks which match global winds of change and are in tune with the nations sectoral push 🙏🏾 Certain developments in the last few days are worrying and I hope corrective measures are taken asap.

Many in Twitter circulating TVK have cancelled 3Lakh renewal fees.

Actually it is false news. I have checked no official G.O is released. Previous DMK government cancelled The frequent renewal fee was effectively scrapped by the March 2, 2026 amendment (G.O. Ms. No. 51), once school is granted recognition

Actual Renewal fee structure, Under the Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Rules, 2023, schools were required to renew their recognition every three years. 

The official application fee for this 3-year renewal was relatively small—₹5,000 for primary schools and ₹10,000 for middle, high, and higher secondary schools. 

On March 2, 2026 (two months before Chief Minister Vijay assumed office on May 10), the DMK government passed an amendment (G.O. Ms. No. 51). This amendment slashed the recognition fees and vastly extended the validity of the certificates.

One more vaaila vanthurum TVK manifesto promise. They claimed TANGEDCO has 16% AT&C losses and promised to reduce them to 10% Reality? TN AT&C losses have already fallen from 14.26% in FY21 to 11.85% in FY25.

No one really fact checked it. Even I ignored it at the time. Formula is simple... create a fake crisis, sell yourself as the saviour and it worked 🚶
