Ms Lichter: He's body was not in the mortuary register with no postmortem and the wife was called to come collect the ashes of her husband without her consent.

Ms Lichter: The inspector of the plane crash was told not to further investigate the crash and told to go back home. He(inspector) then called he's wife that he is coming back home as the is something that is not right in terms of the investigations.

Ms Lichter: The then Minister of Transport, Mr Schoeman announced the crash in Parliament and denied that bodies were found.

The TRC Cases Inquiry public hearings scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 03 September have been postponed.

Due to outages around the area, The Inquiry is working tirelessly to arrange alternative power supply in order to resume the hearings as soon as possible.

The TRC cases Inquiry will hear evidence of the Khulumani Support Group tomorrow, Wednesday 2 September at 140h0

Khulumani Support Group was set up in response to the then pending TRC by victims who felt they needed assistance in making statements to the Commission.
