Was using gamemaker for the first time in ages and really happy they've sorted out the ability to add text a lot easier than it used to be. Still find some of the interface a little bit of a hassle than it should be, but yeah cool.

Moving it to unreal was interesting, but like every game engine I move to, they have some great things and some annoying things to handle. I don't want to move it to a new engine, absolutely not, but thats how I feel right now.

I do need to get back to making games, but my main Job, and book writing it taking up all my time. Now a tree has fallen in my garden, taking away more previous time.

I'm still considering what to do with Dead of Day, progress is rubbish and I'm not motivated in making it.

Started refactoring #deadofday last night finally. Its been such a long road but hope to still get it done in 2019.

Dunno why but #DeadofDay has got upto 89 on the indie database today. Glad to see there is still interest in my game, still working hard on it. Hope to have some news by the end of the year. #indiedev #gamedev #Indies

Been a productive evening for once (I've not been watching cat videos or anything). Taking out features in #DeadOfDay (maybe for v2).... finally making some good progress, and it's looking better than I expected. #indiedev #IndieGameDev

@AmazonUK screwed up the PS4 Pro 500m special edition orders again @yosp. Couldn't add to cart unless you paid for the extended warranty. Of course didnt expect or know that and now sold out. Absolute shambles day 2.

@yosp Another shambles trying to get anything from @amazon. Ordered a 500m edition console, got email saying order complete so dont buy elsewhere. Now amazon cancels all orders and everywhere is sold out. Scalpers already benefiting from it on eBay.
