@selectivenomad @nocapmedia In the UK, and much of the world, it's an altruistic act. I like to think that if my organs could help keep others alive then a part of me lives on after my death which might make it easier for loved ones to bear.

My Mum hates to think about it but has enough respect for me and enough compassion for others that she would not go against my wishes if faced with the decision. He signed up so respect his wishes.
