There was a time when I reached for people, opportunities, outcomes, and even versions of myself that did not reach back.

But the mystic path is one of elegant surrender.

The ancient sages knew:

What is yours by divine right flows to you like a river returning to the ocean — effortlessly, inevitably, magnetically.

What is not yours will slip through your fingers no matter how tightly you clench. The tighter the grip, the greater the illusion of control. The greater the illusion, the deeper the suffering.

I don’t want anything that doesn’t want me.

Not the friendship that feeds only when convenient.
Not the opportunity that costs me my peace.
