People are perceiving the Haaretz piece as some kind of "shocking exposé", "bombshell", or "wild conspiracy theory", but it’s actually neither.

It's just the sheer ignorance of Western media and journalists.

8 years ago, during the Great March of Return, Yahya Sinwar passionately told a reporter that "raiding the border fence" was a feasible option and that there would be a time for everything.

Shortly afterwards, he promised in a video an imminent sort of blitzkrieg to enter & liberate the occupied territories.

Sinwar and other armed resistance commanders repeatedly issued public warnings to Israel before October 7, demanding an end to the Gaza blockade.

In fact, for nearly a decade, the "Liberation Vanguards" youth training camps explicitly stated their goal: to dismantle the apartheid wall and break the siege.

Israel shrugged off these warnings for over twenty years, while Western and Arab nations stood by and approved of Israel's heinous actions.
