The kettle is on.

Mainnet goes live June 4.
The Tea Party begins on Aerodrome.
The launch is not just about bringing $TEA to market.
It is about bringing structure to the value open source already creates.
Maintainers.
Packages.
Dependencies.
Provenance.
Claims.
Governance.
Support flows.
These are not separate ideas.
They are the foundation of tea’s open-source economy.
Open source has the value.
tea gives it structure.
$TEA is not launching into a vacuum.
It is launching into a software world where trust is becoming harder and more valuable.
More AI-generated code.
More dependencies.
More package decisions.
More software moving into production at speed.
The next question is not just who can produce code.
It is who can verify what that code depends on.
tea is built for that context: provenance, dependency intelligence, claims, governance, and support around open-source work.
Code is abundant.
Trust is scarce.
Before launch, every project has a story.
The question is what the product proves.
For tea, the TEA DApp shows how the open-source economy can move from fragmented value into usable product primitives: project identity, GPG key verification, BounTEA, claims, governance, dependency context, and support flows.
That matters because $TEA is not entering as a standalone token narrative.
It is entering as the economic layer for a system built around open-source value.
The product is the receipt.
A launch can create a market moment.
But market moments fade if there is no utility behind them.
tea is built for the part that has to last: open-source identity, provenance, dependency context, GPG key verification, BounTEA, claims, governance, and support flows.
That is the difference between a short-lived token event and economic infrastructure for open source.
Launch gets attention.
Utility gives it somewhere to go.
For a long time, tea has been easy to describe as a thesis.
Open source runs modern software.
Its value layer is fragmented.
Provenance, dependency context, claims, governance, and support need better infrastructure.
Now the thesis is becoming visible.
The TEA DApp gives the system a product surface.
GPG key verification brings project identity closer to real maintainer context.
BounTEA creates a clearer support path for open-source work.
Aerodrome gives $TEA a launch route.
This is the shift.
From category thesis to visible system.
Some launches are rushed into the market.
tea was not built for that.
The goal was never to create a short-lived token moment. It was to bring economic infrastructure for open source into market with the right product path, venue, timing, and communication around it.
That takes calibration.
Now the route is public.
Aerodrome is tea’s launch venue and launch partner.
Voting opens May 28.
TGE is June 4.
CEX listing to be announced in the coming weeks.
The noise gets louder before launch.
That is normal.
But the signal is clearer now.
Aerodrome is tea’s launch venue and launch partner.
Voting opens May 28.
TGE is June 4.
$TEA is not entering the market as a standalone token moment.
It is entering as the economic layer for tea’s open-source L2, built around provenance, dependency context, claims, governance, and support for open-source work.
The route is public.
Less guessing.
More signal.
The launch path is public.
Voting opens on Aerodrome May 28.
TGE is June 4.
The next step is making more of the product path visible.
The walkthroughs ahead are not just about showing screens.
They are about showing how tea moves from a simple product surface into a deeper system for provenance, dependency context, claims, governance, and support around open-source work.
The date is set.
The route is narrowing.
More of the path is becoming visible.
Open source is not just a list of projects.
It is a graph of packages, maintainers, dependencies, claims, and support flows.
Most people never see that graph clearly.
tea helps make it usable.
Through the tea network and TEA DApp, users and developers can discover important open-source projects, understand dependency context, participate in claims and governance, and support the software they rely on.
The benefit is simple:
clearer context, better participation, and stronger support for the open-source work modern software depends on.
5/5
This is why the launch route matters.
$TEA is not just showing up as a token moment.
It is entering through an onchain liquidity system built around voting, incentives, and market formation.
The Tea Party begins.
4/5
That is where $TEA enters.
Voting opens for $TEA on Aerodrome May 28.
Aero Ignition takes off on June 4.
Aerodrome is tea’s launch venue and launch partner.
2/5
Aerodrome is Base’s liquidity hub.
Instead of only opening an order book, Aerodrome uses pools, incentives, and voting to help liquidity form onchain.
That is why the voting window matters.
1/5
Tomorrow is about Aerodrome.
Not just because $TEA is launching through it.
Because the way Aerodrome works is different from a normal listing.
A CEX listing gives access.
A DEX launch creates onchain market structure.
A CEX listing gives access.
Aerodrome works differently.
AERO lockers receive veAERO voting power.
veAERO voters choose which pools receive emissions.
Those emissions help attract liquidity.
Liquidity helps markets form onchain.
That is why May 28 matters.
Voting opens for $TEA on Aerodrome, tea’s launch venue and launch partner.
TGE is June 4.
$TEA enters through voting.
Not just listing.
The official checker will come from official channels.
Until then, spamming “wen checker?” does not make it arrive faster.
Patience is free.
Reading updates is also free.
