This is one of the main reasons I cannot stand Calvinism, and why I cannot play nice with them. Stuff like this is actively taught in the Church, and then called good. And people hear this, listen to it, and this is supposed to give them comfort.

3 reasons If your ministry doesn’t tithe, finances will always be an uphill climb.

1. You’re Asking People to Practice a Principle Your Ministry Refuses to Practice

Luke 6:38 — “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over…”

If you preach tithing and giving to your people while your ministry itself doesn’t tithe, your pitch will always have a bit of hypocrisy to it. You’re asking others to trust God financially in a way you’re unwilling to trust Him yourself.

2. The Tithe Acknowledges That God—not Donors—is Your Source

Deuteronomy 8:18 — “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…”

Tithing keeps a ministry conscious that its ultimate source is not wealthy donors, attendance, fundraising, or economic conditions; but God.

3. The Tithe Carries a Specific Promise Concerning the Devourer

Malachi 3:10–11 — “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse… and prove me now herewith… if I will not open you the windows of heaven… And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes…”

A ministry can have substantial income and still constantly lose ground through unnecessary expenses, breakdowns, waste, and financial pressure. God specifically connected the tithe with His rebuking of the devourer.

🚨HOW TO HANDLE PEOPLE LEAVING YOUR CHURCH

Thinking you can pastor so perfectly that nobody leaves is fantasy.

God couldn’t keep Adam, and Jesus lost Judas.

People get relocated for work, get offended… some don’t even know why they left.

People leave spouses they vowed to stay with for life. People walk away from their own children and families.

All your teaching on offense or faithfulness will never change that.

✅ Win souls faster than you lose people.

✅ Stay clean financially, ethically, and sexually.

Control what you can control.

(And if you treat them kindly on the way out, many come back.)

Before he died, Billy Graham was returning to Charlotte after a speaking engagement and when his plane arrived there was a limousine waiting to transport him to his home. As he prepared to get into the limo, he stopped and spoke to the driver .

"You know," he said, "I am 87 years old and I have never driven a limousine. Would you mind if I drove it for a while?"The driver said, "No problem. Be my guest!"

Billy gets into the driver's seat and they head off down the highway. A short distance away sat a rookie State Trooper operating his first speed trap.The long black limo went by him doing 70 in a 55 mph zone. The trooper pulled out and easily caught the limo and he got out of his patrol car to begin the procedure.

The young trooper walked up to the driver's door and when the glass was rolled down, he was surprised to see who was driving.

He immediately excused himself and went back to his car and called his supervisor.

He told the supervisor, "I know we are supposed to enforce the law, but I also know that important people are given certain courtesies. I need to know what I should do because I have stopped a very important person."

The supervisor asked, "Is it the governor?" The young trooper said, "No, he's more important than that." The supervisor said, "Oh, so it's the president." The young trooper said, "No, he's even more important than that."

The supervisor finally asked, "Well then, who is it?"The young trooper said...

"I think it's Jesus, because he's got Billy Graham for a chauffeur!"

Your comment should have read, "Says the one that is SEEING millions saved". The blessing of Abraham is FOR US TODAY! Why?! I'm gladd you asked. So that we can BE a blessing to others! @JDShuttlesworth shows this everyday... Don't believe me? Ask the kids in Houston that had a Christmas because of him, ask the bikers in Stergis, ask the people of London, Venezuela, Canada, Africa, and all over the United States..

I pastor a church in Oklahoma and this is why I AND my church, beginning this month, will sew into this ministry... To be a blessing to others...

Then I'll tell you a little secret.. When you sew into good ground, it produces a rich and bountiful harvest! So when I get my jet, MORE churches will be planted, MORE trips to foreign Countries to share the Gospel will happen, MORE Spirit filled Revivals will take place...

When the church is poor, dead and consumed with themselves and infighting, the devil wins... When the church is blessed by God according to His riches in Glory, souls are SAVED, lives are CHANGED and the Gospel is spread into all the world!

You may have a case against someone else, but you're barking up the wrong tree with @JDShuttlesworth.. His fruit proves otherwise...

We have ALL been predestined to enter into a relationship with the Lord, the ONLY question is, if they will call on the name of the Lord....
