I'm partial to the Tohoku region for rural which is the North-East of the main island. Sapporo, and the inner mountain valley are nice too. less people will speak eng out there

@popufur Combination of things. You were not scammed. Vendors tend to advertise and sell in Tera-bits whereas windows and most people measure in Tera-BYTES. That difference between base 8 and base 10 accounts for the difference. You also lose a noticeable percentage in formatting too.

I feel bad for the guy but the internet as a whole is awful about attribution.
It sucks that you have to essentially dox yourself to fight it too. People have been abusing this to get personal info.

If your designs are basically the same they MAY have a case but this sounds more like "original character do not steal" type improper copyright claim.
