@ChiSoxFanMike A lot of these “rumors” could be somewhat legit but who knows. Maybe Adam’s is part of a package for Stephenson and a starter. Singer is fine but I’d rather them take a bigger swing. Holmes to me is the guy on the rental mkt that would make a bigger difference

@MSuareo For rentals Holmes is the most intriguing and Ray I would take. The others would be fine but not sure how much they help. Singer would help for depth but if they got in a playoff series not sure I’d like him starting a game.

@SoxMach_pnoles @Noahp245 Minor league system for starting pitching has had a rough year. I do think Schultz needs some time in AAA. His spots are very hittable over the plate. Big league team has had a good month.

@JamesFox917 @MSuareo He has had small injuries in the minors that have consistently set him back. I would give him plenty of starts and innings and see how it goes. Up to this point it looks like he needs more development time

@JamesFox917 @nbb77 Schultz and Smith not developing is a major blow. Some Teams buy pitching but the Sox don’t like to spend $. If you don’t spend it’s really difficult.

@Noahp245 Pitching has not been the focus of this front office. Smith and Schultz not developing up to this point has been a huge issue. I would’ve thought both would be in the rotation by now. You have to buy pitching if you can’t develop it. Tough for an owner who doesn’t spend

@RyanMcGuffey Schultz seems like he needs to get demoted and work on control. Most of his pitches when strikes catch way too much of the plate. If the fast ball is never going to get to 97-98 he has to hit his spots. He has not done that

@MrDelicious13 It’s not panicking but I’m not huge on Schultz being up to figure it out. He throws way too much over the middle of the plate. I’d get Sandlin a shot while they look for a starter

@nbb77 I think he needs more time. 94-95 is fine if you hit your spots. He gets beat up too much. Might need more work in minors for next season. Sandlin maybe gets another shot and they need a starter
