I thought the first 2/3rds of Backrooms were pretty great. But the final act really fell flat for me. It was scariest when it was actually playing with the vastness and endless nature of the rooms but once things started to get revealed it felt like any other horror movie.

The film follows a writer who is taken to another realm to help write nightmares to keep monsters alive.

Really really enjoyed Mandalorian and Grogu a lot but I am also a BIG fan of animated Star Wars so stuff like the inclusion of Rota really hit for me. Curious to hear from people who aren’t as familiar with that part of the franchise to see what they thought.
