Nicolas Cage says he’s probably not working with Amazon again after refusing to sign an AI waiver for ‘SPIDER-NOIR’.
“I am not an AI-friendly actor, so it’s like, connect those dots! I’m not a member of their club. I didn’t sign the waiver to let him use AI on ‘Spider- Noir.’ I’m probably not going to be working with that studio again, but that’s okay.”
Nicolas Cage says he’s “probably not” working with Amazon again after refusing to sign an AI waiver for #SpiderNoir:
“Amazon is a very AI-friendly company, to the tune of $50 billion invested in OpenAI,” Cage said at #NYCC. “I am not an AI-friendly actor, so it’s like, connect those dots! I’m not a member of their club. I didn’t sign the waiver to let him use AI on ‘Spider Noir.’ I’m probably not going to be working with that studio again, but that’s okay.”

when i moved to japan 8 years ago, one of the absolute joys was seeing all the little cute human drawn arts for ads or rule posters, now it all is rapidly turning into AI garbage
why? in a country that like no other appreciate aesthetic and beauty, why is it so common now?
thinking about abandonning the internet forever ngl
what's the point anymore? we were supposed to remotely connect and interact between humans
but now the only way to be sure you're talking to a real person is to actually be outside face to face
I came across a Reddit post that described AI in a way I can’t stop thinking about:
“AI allows the wealthy to access skills while stripping skilled people of their ability to access wealth.”
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the purpose of AI captured so brutally and accurately.
