Congratulations to @colestephens99. He was voted the FACA 3A Player of the Year for District 7. He also finished tied for the lead in the state for wins with 10. Cole went 10-1 this season with a 1.57 ERA. He won two huge post season games for us down the stretch. @OcalaPreps

The FHSAA just sent out an email saying power rankings for baseball and softball will be up by 9 a.m. tomorrow (weather pushing back district finals could delay this). The brackets should be posted soon after.

Good win tonight at home. TC 3 Citrus 0. Mekai Griffin went the distance throwing a no hitter and striking out 12. He was OUTSTANDING and completely controlled the game from the beginning. The boys looked great tonight in their Patriotic uniforms.

You can do the warmup, bands, weighted balls and everything a coach tells you to do and you can still not be ready to play at 100%.

Know what you need to do and do it for yourself, not just what a coach tells you to do.

How is this even possible? We give umpires in baseball way too much control. The amount of recourse a coach has against them has to change, umpire accountability needs to be addressed. Especially at that level, they get paid plenty of money and get treated plenty good enough.
