@BangorUni held a TRIP project trial dig day on Friday, at the Henfas.
Guests had the chance to view the yield digs of the blight resistant breeding trials and later had the chance to take part in some taste tests.
Final digs are being performed in the DFR experiments. In addition to measuring total yields, samples will be graded in 10 mm increments, to show tuber size distribution and marketable yields
As the season comes to an end, Dyson Farming held an in-field day.
The group visited one of the nutrition experiments and also learnt about trials to encourage beneficial insects as part of an IPM strategy.
