Bhubaneswar, Odisha: President of the World Bank Group, Ajay Banga says, "Absolutely, I think India has demonstrated that it can show exceptional growth. The real thing is not the percentage of growth. The real thing you need to think about is if you want to be Viksit Bharat by 2047, then this kind of facility, this kind of skilling effort, this kind of devotion of people who run facilities like this is very important..."
#WATCH | Bhubaneswar, Odisha | World Bank President Ajay Banga says, "The amount of infrastructure investment that has happened in India in the last 10 years is actually quite admirable. Today, you land in Bhubaneshwar, and you see a modern airport. 280 airports, tens of thousands of kilometres of roads every year. The reality is that infrastructure is being built...There are three things that have to happen. One is that you must have infrastructure, not just physical, but also human capital, skilling, health care, and education. Second, you must have the right business-friendly policies. In India, there has been some progress. But as you know, the Prime Minister is driving new changes in the land and labour law, which are very important for continuing growth and ease of doing business in India..."

A Letter That Echoes Gratitude
She’s just 12. But the words she wrote to the Commanding Officer of the Indian Army (@adgpi) carry the weight of deep gratitude and unshakable hope.
"Because of you, I have the strength to believe that I can see this beautiful world again."
Her journey was never walked alone. Brave soldiers carried her across states. Doctors treated her with care. Kind souls stood by her through #PromiseBank.
Every step was a gift of humanity, reflected in her letter. A voice that speaks not just for herself, but for every heart you've helped heal.
Thank you, little warrior, for your courage. And thank you to each one who stood by her. Her light is a mirror to your compassion.

Because You Chose Not to Look Away, and Today He Walks Into Class 1🏫
Two years ago, Sai from Kendrapara, Odisha, faced a battle few children should ever endure. Born with a critical heart condition, he needed a life-saving surgery: intracardiac repair, PA plasty, and conduit repair. His family held onto hope, even when the path ahead was uncertain.
But the journey was about much more than medicine; it was about humanity coming together.
In January 2023, Sai made the long journey to Mumbai, where a team at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital (@KDAHMumbai) prepared to give him a second chance at life.
Behind this effort stood an army of kindness:
Dr. Brajaraj Das from Apollo Hospitals Bhubaneswar (@ApolloHospBBSR) guided the family to the expert care of Dr. Smruti Ranjan Mohanty.
Dr. Smruti Ranjan Mohanty (@KDAHMumbai), whose steady hands and heart made the impossible possible.
Organizations like @AllroundVP and @Rotary refused to let distance or hardship stand in Sai’s way.
Blood donors like Ashish Gandhi, Arvind Rathore, Bharatsingh Rajpurohit, Dinesh Sain, Hakaram Dewasi, Mohanlal Choudhary, Mukesh Kumavat, Raj Dave, and Kamal Purohit, who gave a part of themselves to keep Sai strong.
Our heartfelt thanks to @Brijeshbsingh, @Pankaj_TiwariUP, @Sanjay_IRTS, and @GRPODISHA for helping confirm the travel details for Sai’s family as they journeyed to Mumbai and back to Odisha following discharge.
The care Sai received wasn’t confined to the hospital. The team at @KDAHMumbai treated him like family, even gifting Sai a bicycle when he was discharged, a simple gesture that symbolized a new beginning.
Today, Sai is no longer just fighting for survival. Today, he’s a Class 1 student, proudly wearing his school uniform, carrying a bag full of dreams, and with a heart full of hope for the future.
Though Sai’s journey is ongoing, with another surgery expected in the years to come, today we celebrate how far he’s come, thanks to the collective strength and kindness of everyone who stood by him.
Sai’s story is stitched together by every hand that chose kindness over silence. Thanks to every doctor, donor, volunteer, and supporter, today one little boy carries the dreams of a thousand hearts.

Ansh, an 11-yo from #Bihar, is bravely battling thalassemia. He is currently at @KDAHMumbai for a bone marrow transplant and requires regular blood transfusions. Without a local network to support them, his family was struggling to find donors.
In this time of need, 60-yo Mrs. Rama Vishwanath stepped forward to donate blood for Ansh, proving that kindness knows no age. Our heartfelt gratitude to her for this incredible gesture.
Heartfelt thanks to @RahulCDedhia@KYSForYou for ensuring Ansh received the support he needed. Behind every saved life, there are silent heroes who make it possible.

This is not the first instance of dumpers blatantly plying on Ahmedabad roads during no-entry hours. This time, I captured a video as evidence. Why are these trucks repeatedly allowed to violate traffic rules, endangering the lives of citizens? @AhdTraffic@AMCommissioner
