Hon. @BTOofficial really did a great one with these firetrucks and the effectiveness of the fire service and I was really proud of them last night. There was a fire incident around past 11 at a neighborhood and I quickly placed a call to the @Fedfireng control room. I was shocked that they responded swiftly, got into action with their fire trucks and were able to savage the situation and discovered the cause of the fire. I will propose more earlier response time from the department as they couldn't meet up with the 15 minutes response time and also I will like to suggest that all homes, shops, stations and public spaces should have a fire extinguisher no matter how small just as the firefighters educated us last night.

Yesterday, I attended the Ministry of Interior Media Masterclass for Public Relations Officer of the Agencies under the Ministry and media teams. In my keynote address, I emphasized the need for advocacy in promoting the activities of our paramilitary agencies.

In an era where bad news travels wider and faster than good news, we must be intentional in telling our stories to showcase the good work being done by our gallant personnel in uniform.

I am excited about the new initiatives aimed at enhancing media engagement, and particularly appreciative of the efforts of our resources persons including @seunokin of Channels TV; Bashir Hassan of Business Day; Dr. Oladele Peter (@Ekitiketekan) of Blue Tile Media; Ifeoluwa Obakunle (@Lovesticks2), my official videographer and Omotayo Adeniyi (@itagexpression), my official photographer.

In line with the #RenewedHope agenda of President @officialABAT Tinubu in redeeming the image of service, and rebuilding trust in the masses, we are working together to shape the narrative and promote a positive public image of our agencies.

Everything Aregbesola didn't achieve in 4 years, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo @BTOofficial did it in less than two years. Aregbesola only achievement is declaring public holiday. Tunji-Ojo made people understand the ministry is more than public holiday. He cleared the 200k plus passport backlog left by @raufaregbesola in less than three weeks he took over.

Tunji-Ojo brought Evisa, Contactless Biometric Passport Enrolment, he built and put to use command and control centre, he brought Egate, and the guy did many of these with Zero budget allocation in 2024. All those officers Aregbesola did not promote are now promoted and no promotion backlog again in our paramilitary.

Wo Tunji-Ojo is 100k meter yard ahead of Aregbesola in just 2 years plus...

Yesterday, I received the President, National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA), Mr. Yinka Folami and his team in my office, exchanging ideas on the future of tourism in our dear country and collaborative growth in the travel industry to fit international best practices.

As a government, we are being intentional with our strategy for growth, especially with the introduction of the E-VISA.

Our intent remains to encourage investment and boost tourism by reducing bureaucratic hurdles as well as boosting economic reforms towards achieving the #RenewedHope vision of President @officialABAT Tinubu, (GCFR).
