Washington on newspapers and magazines: "More happily calculated than any other to preserve liberty and meliorate the morals of an enlightened and free people."
As absurd and miraculous as that Pacers' comeback was, if either Karl-Anthony Towns or OG Anunoby make both of their free throws down the stretch, the Knicks win in regulation. The Knicks lost the game at the free throw line.
It took until May, but the Colorado Rockies can now feel the euphoria of a winning streak.
The Rockies (6-25) beat the Giants, winning back-to-back games for the first time this season.
RJ Barrett, Evan Fournier, Obi Toppin and two 1st round picks for Bradley Beal. There are a couple cautionary pieces of acquiring Beal that should be noted: durability is a major concern. Also, his percentages as a 3-point shooter aren't as lights out as you'd think. #Knicks
Beal has a no trade clause in his contract and is owed:
23-24: $46.7M
24-25: $50.2M
25-26: $53.6M
26-27: $57.1M
The no trade clause is transferable to his new team.
Elly De La Cruz recorded a 10.83 home-to-third speed on this triple.
That's the fastest-tracked home-to-third time in MLB this season.

The fact that he's so humble and appreciative of all his success is one reason why Mike Breen is still the premier NBA play by play man. He loves his job and that permeates his broadcasts. #NBA https://t.co/5NcoHIppkT
@Herring_NBA@SInow I respect the hustle getting the Blood in the Garden link in there. It's great that SI allows you the opportunity to promote it: it deserves to be showcased. Any news on the documentary?
Giancarlo Stanton continues to prove he's made of glass as he's on the shelf four to six weeks with a hamstring strain. Brian Cashman doesn't take nearly the right amount of criticism for acquiring him and his horrendous contract. It would have crippled most franchises. #Yankees
@MollieeWalkerr You were exceptional on @jeffpearlman's podcast. It's invigorating to hear someone so thankful to be in the position they're in, recognize how fortunate they are to be there, and capitalize on the opportunity with the commitment necessary to be successful.
@Shamrock_72@jgreen710 Even if he missed on Wilson (and enigmatically was convinced on taking him over Fields way too soon), Douglas has loaded the roster so I see Saleh as more vulnerable if they miss the playoffs again next year.
Can't do it with the makeshift offensive line that will be in front of him Sunday: three starters missing. If he is salvageable, which remains to be seen, it's best for him to get his head and mechanics right for 2023.
@Shamrock_72@jgreen710 Completely agree. An improved offensive line and Breece Hall back next year gives the offense explosive potential. They may as well shoot for the stars on a QB like Rodgers, Brady, or Jackson before settling for someone competent.
@jgreen710@Shamrock_72 I expect them to sign a veteran QB to start with Wilson as the backup. They'll do it with the intention of continuing to develop Wilson, though it's hard to see him as the future unless he takes significant strides next year. Mike White is gone.
@jgreen710@Shamrock_72 You have to expect him to miss games. When he's out there though, he's been better than Carr. And if they're serious about maintaining long-term plans for Wilson, that will give him another opportunity to show growth.
