A los 9 años me regalaron una megadrive y mi primer juego fue el Sonic.
Quién me iba a decir que muchos años después montaría una academia de videojuegos, @StegaAcademy, y uno de mis alumnos, @eziomenutti, haría esta maravilla 😍

Bright, cheerful, nostalgic, sometimes a little scary, a touch epic at some times, and overall a fun and bouncy experience. If you purchase through BC (thank you!!) please add to your collection and leave a review - it helps a lot!
@Broke_Studio I wanna say Game Gear because #SegaRepresent, but I feel like the GBA has got to be the best handheld ever made.

just wait until you check out most jazz, musical theater, tonal symphonies, disco, 19th Century German lieder, troubadour songs, piano sonatas, glam metal, string quartets, opera, movie scores, the method used for dividing an octave into 12 tones,
@St1ka@Skul_gun Probably not. Animaniacs is also 1 MiB and managed to find the space for PCM.
I think it's more likely it was either a limitation of the sound driver they had at the time or just Yamane-san's preference.
Of course, it also depends on what else the game needed space for.
@Skul_gun@St1ka Yamane-san's composition style makes it sound "8-bit++" in a way.
One channel is always doing percussion, often there's two channels for a lead + echo, one channel is always doing bass so there's often only one or two channels doing counterpoints and almost no big chords.
