Amazing how quickly the establishment media can shrink our memories by bombarding us with propaganda.

A few months back, journalists were warning that Israel had the most far-right government in its history, including self-declared religious fascists, who wanted to make the Palestinians' lives even more miserable.

The aim was to encourage those Palestinians still clinging to their homeland to leave, so their lands could be annexed by fanatical Jewish settlers. That would amount to the final triumph of the Zionist movement's long-held 'Judaisation' dream.

Now, all that is forgotten. The same Israeli government, with the same fascists, provoked the very attack the media warned it was risking through its extremism (even if not quite how anyone expected).

Now every media outlet is agreed: Israel is exercising its 'unquestionable right' to pulverise Gaza, spreading terror among its 2 million inhabitants.

To what purpose? To make their lives even more miserable so that, one day soon, they flee their homeland, thereby realising the Zionist dream.
