Retreat: "the act of moving back, or withdrawing."
To retreat is to find a safe space - away from preoccupations, for us to reassess. Only then, can we move forward with intention.

If your mind is often wandering to problems – you’ll think you have a lot of them.
When you practice being more present, much of that unnecessary negativity will fall away.
“Living is a form of not being sure, now knowing what next or how." Agnes De Mille
The truth of this world is constant change.
How do you meet the truth of not being sure?
Myth: Meditation is about escaping the real world.
Reality: Meditation helps you accept and be present in the real world, by reminding you that it's always changing moment to moment.
In honour of #WorldMentalHealthDay – We want to add to the conversation.

Emotions like anxiety, sadness, anger or grief aren’t inherently wrong or bad.
They are human and necessary.
Most of the pain we experience when navigating them is actually due to our own self-judgement that we “shouldn’t be feeling this way.”
What if our problem is not that we have difficulties in life that create stress - but that we think we SHOULD’T have any difficulties at all, and that incorrect thinking ends up creating MORE stress?
