DNF - someone dropped a driveshaft and we ran over it. Bent our driveshaft which caused a vibration that ruined the transmission seal. We’ve got a hotrod. Next time we’ll get em.

Hot damn we went from P7 to P2 to in our first heat. Track will come to us a little. We’ll make a few adjustments and get ready to battle again.

One last ride. TOMS Nationals at Southern Oklahoma Speedway. Heats tonight. Show tomorrow. Everybody runs 2 heats. Top 8 in total passing points directly to the show. Everyone else to the B mains tomorrow. Draw for starting spots in the first heat. Inverted for the second heat.

Finished P2 in our heat. We were 6th quick overall. But our night is over. Broke a rocker arm taking the green at the last caution. It didn’t blow clear up, but we’re done for tonight.

Change of plans. When your primary sponsor calls and wants to get his car out and race with you this weekend, you change your plans. We’ll be at Boyd Raceway tonight. Two cars, same class, I’m going to be busy but this will be fun!

Bittersweet weekend upcoming. The last ever race at Devils Bowl Speedway before it becomes a distribution center is invitation only. We’ve been invited and will be in the field alongside the WoO Sprint Cars. One final chance to crack the code on this historic track. Memories

TOMS needs to do something about traction control. Perhaps actually tech these cars instead of just checking the chip. 🤷‍♂️ Winner’s LR tire was cold and he never turned over 4,500 rpm the whole feature. Blatantly obvious. You could hear it. I’m off my soapbox now.

Redrew a 4. Finished P3 in the show. Car was still really good. I think we underestimated how abrasive the surface was going to be. Looked and felt like the tires faded. We stayed with used rubber instead of new. Great finish for the first night in a new chassis. We’ll take it.

We finished P2 by 2/10 of a second. Our stuff is goooood around the bottom. They got us at the flag by running the top. That line will very soon be gone and we’ll win this thing. We are 8th in passing points so we made the redraw. We’ll start no worse than P8 in the show.

A month ago we got run over and bent everything from the seat back. We were set in the corner and back on the gas, the dude behind us never lifted. Found a nice 22 Rage in Iowa. Got it home, got our bullet in it, now looking for a race. We’ll finish the season in these colors.
