It’s easy to criticize GTA 5 today with 13 years of hindsight but back in 2013, GTA V was downright revolutionary.

Having 3 protagonists in a massive, seamless open world while including wildlife/tennis/racing/golf and Online on a 360/PS3 was mind shattering levels of innovation
