...to meet people's needs - building links with workers involved in other community-focused organizations is an essential aspect of growing mutual aid projects into organs for class struggle.
See you next Saturday, and stay tuned for more super cool news!
Another Saturday means another community meeting in Borrell Park. Yesterday, we sat down with neighbors and friends to discuss further plans for developing this project into a fully-fledged tenants' assembly with the explicit aim of lowering rent across the city through...
...organized tenant power.
We continued to develop our relationships with not only the residents closest to the park but also with those organizations and groups which conduct charitable work in the area. Working class people just like us recognize the failure of capitalism...
If you want to help take the fight to the next level, sign up for East Tampa Fights back as either a volunteer (https://t.co/UdCx19H4ta) or a renter (https://t.co/qghTuaw32v) to get involved.
Four issues of the twice-monthly bulletin have now been published and distributed through the weekly share at Borrell Park! Committee members and community supporters have been hard at work sharing these bulletins in the surrounding neighborhood.
Comrades distributed the new issue of the East Tampa Fights Back bulletin, shared food and company, and enjoyed the nice weather.
See you next Saturday!
On Saturday, Committee members, supporters, and ETFB members gathered in Borrell Park to work on the logistics of further transforming the share into community meetings for an incipient tenant's organization.
We're so lucky to have such a fun and supportive community to spend time with every weekend. See you all next weekend, and stayed tuned for more updates!

Busy day Saturday! Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support us, get some cookies, have a hotdog, sip some cold soda, and talk about housing in Tampa with neighbors and community members.
We hope to see you tomorrow at the share and on November 1st at the first meeting for East Tampa Fights Back! We're very excited to begin this next chapter of the struggle with you all.
East Tampa Fights Back!
As we continue to develop the community around our weekly share into an autonomous mass-membership organization to actively fight for lower rent, the name of the project newsletter has been updated accordingly.
East Tampa Fights Back will have its first meeting under that name on November 1st, at 6pm. DM us, email us, or apply at https://t.co/UdCx19H4ta if you'd like to RSVP!
Thank you for 100 weekends! A huge round of applause to all our friends, comrades, and community supporters who came out to celebrate with us.
We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to spend so much time serving and growing with the people.
If vou would like to get involved in the next phase of this project, we will be holding open, public community meetings to launch and develop ETFB into a full-fledged organization, dedicated to the defense of East Tampa against gentrification, overdevelopment, and displacement.
