Troupe 4276 is excited to announce our 2021-2022 season! We open with Grease, September 30- October 3. Followed by The Illusion, November 5 and 6. Our spring musical is Monty Python’s Spamalot February 17-20 Last but not least, we end the season with Intimate Apparel, April 21-24
Happy Juneteenth!! Dr. Phillips Theatre Magnet celebrates June 19th as the newest national holiday. Juneteenth commemorates the day that enslaved Africans were finally freed. Let’s use this day as a celebration of where we’ve come, and a stepping stone for the future!

For day 6, we’re admiring Jeremy O. Harris and his influential works and activism that have brought awareness to crucial topics such as racism and sexuality.
For day five, we honor playwright Paula Vogel for her powerful and intimate work as well as her contributions to the telling of LGBTQ+ stories onstage.
For day 4, we’re recognizing Tony Kushner and the influence he’s had on the theatre community, notably with his famous epic play Angels in America. Recently, he adapted the screenplay for the upcoming movie remake of West Side Story!
Today, we recognize Michael R. Jackson for making theatre history by becoming the first Black playwright to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for a musical, and being the first to win the award without a Broadway run!
For day 2, we’re honoring Terrence McNally for his wonderful contributions to the theatre community. He passed away in March from complications due to the coronavirus. May he rest in peace ❤️
For the last week of pride month, we will be posting every day in order to honor some of the LGBTQ+ people who have made major contributions to theatre history! Today we honor Lisa Kron, who brought Gay and Lesbian stories onstage with her 2015 Tony Best Musical winner, Fun Home.
