Wait, what?

This appears to be unprecedented executive order—not a league rule, not a statute, and not a court order—of one member state of the Big 10.

I can’t imagine such an order being enforceable across the league, let alone in Nebraska.

Either way, our office is reviewing this very closely as it appears contrary to every rule currently in place.

We will take all necessary and appropriate measures to protect the competitive integrity of the season.

A statement from the Big Ten on the Maryland-Nebraska Football game.

[Nebraska Huskers @Huskers]

"Nebraska's greatest asset is its people.

It's been an honor to serve them."

[Nebraska Huskers @Huskers]

A staple of Memorial Stadium.

Since 1925, local Scouts with @boyscouts have played an integral role in @HuskerFootball game days, serving as ushers to assist Husker fans.

Today, we will recognize the 2026-27 recipients of the Nebraska Eagle Scout Scholarship, made possible through the Walter Scott Family Foundation. In recognition of his generosity, one of Walter's mantras is painted in the back of the end zones: "Do Great Things."

[Nebraska Huskers @Huskers]

Forever enshrined.

A true Nebraska icon.

[Nebraska Volleyball @HuskerVB]

Raising the standard.

Flag football is coming to @CFBPlayoff!

This week, the College Football Playoff and @iFlagfb announced a CFP Flag Football Showcase, running alongside the CFP National Championship January 22-24 in Las Vegas.
Another major milestone for flag football and the pathway we’re building for the sport.

Football for all!

Nebraska AD Troy Dannen told @SBJ today the school has communicated internally that it will not schedule Texas Tech in the future.

Two other P4 ADs, including one in the Big 12, suggested their schools might consider following suit.

Full thought from Dannen:
