@Skinnypizzle Lupe is right about one thing. He can write but his beat selection is subpar. I think production plays into lyricism and that’s why Lupe isn’t as relevant. He raps over “meh” beats often. I don’t have many (or any) Kendrick, Andre, Ab-Soul, songs that I don’t like for the beat.
