Were russian-speaking people murdered just because they spoke russian in Ukraine? Absolutely not. In fact it is Ukrainian language that was suppressed and banned for centuries by Russia

@jcastle919 @2xKildCatherine @mariamposts This is not accurate. Russian was never banned, it is still widely used in the country with no discrimination, regardless of the region. What you are referring to is prioritizing the national language (Ukrainian) in Ukraine, which is normal.

@DominiqueTaegon @jcastle919 Actually russian language was never banned in Ukraine. Also, opposition and clearly pro-Russian channels are not the same thing. Of course you shut down the channels that spread disinformation and tell everyone to surrender to Russia!
