This month is the culmination of #PlayStation Hubris.

They thought their biggest fans would happily surrender game ownership, they thought their studios could successfully milk the same gameplay loops endlessly, and they thought #XBOX would surrender. They were very wrong.👇

Just one year ago people were talking about how XBOX was "on life support", and all #PS6 had to do to succeed was "not f*** it up". And btw, the people who said that last year were right. However, it's now just one year later, and it's clear that Sony did not take that advice.🤦

PlayStation's twitter account is cooked, their relationships with partners are straining, they can't seem to launch successful exclusives anymore, and they've lost "the next MGS" to a resurgent XBOX.

What a difference a year can make. Heads must roll.
