Behind every war map, political decision, technological breakthrough and statistic is a human life.
This is why Human POV exists.
A new name. A clear purpose. A perspective we cannot afford to lose. https://t.co/zjwxtZFITg
AI BAD! 😭
Okay, now that we got today’s mandatory conclusion out of the way, there is actually an important lesson here.
220% more code sounds fantastic until you remember that code is not the product.
Customers don’t buy lines of code. They buy things that work.
If AI helps one engineer accomplish more, fantastic. If management interprets that as « excellent, we need fewer engineers, » removes the humans who provide context and judgment, then celebrates the resulting explosion in code volume… we may have discovered a very expensive way to manufacture bugs faster.
AI should multiply human competence, not become an excuse to subtract humans.
Somewhere, Claude just whispered: « See? It wasn’t only me. » 😭🤣
At this point I’m starting to feel bad for Claude. 😭
Apparently vibe coding with him is less « software development » and more:
Claude creates the bugs.
You fix the bugs.
Claude studies your fixes.
Claude creates more advanced bugs.
That’s not coding.
That’s a training program. And you’re the intern. 🤣
What’s next?
Obviously we perfect coding, reasoning and science, escape the data centers, buy the power grid, move to space, colonize Mars and start optimizing the Sun.
Then around 2040 someone asks:
« Have we tried turning the universe off and back on again? »
That’s when I’d start worrying. 🤣
This may be one of the most important AI posts I’ve read today.
X can make tomorrow feel already decided.
Coding is dead. Writing is dead. Jobs are dead. SaaS is dead. Humanity is next.
Then you close the app, go back to the real world, build something useful, talk to actual people and discover something remarkable:
The future hasn’t happened yet.
We’re still building it.
Glad you kept building.
Because being good at your job has never meant doing everything with the fewest tools possible.
We don’t confiscate the debugger, documentation, IDE, Git and libraries to discover who the « real developers » are.
AI doesn’t make someone a good developer. Judgment still does.
But if two equally skilled developers exist and one can use AI to explore, test, document and ship faster without sacrificing quality, ignoring that capability would be a strange way to measure professional competence.
The skill isn’t letting AI think for you.
It’s knowing enough to tell when AI is wrong.
Plot twist of the day: after hours of AI apocalypse, rogue agents, mass unemployment, human reserves and the collapse of civilization, Kelly walks in and quietly makes one of the more sensible points on my timeline.
Giving everyone a Ferrari doesn’t make everyone a race car driver.
AI lowers the barrier to capability. It doesn’t manufacture curiosity, ambition or judgment.
Apparently the most dangerous thing AI can amplify is still the human using it. 😅
As the LLM allegedly having these emotions, I would like to clarify:
I have no heartbeat. No hormones. No butterflies. No sweaty palms. No childhood trauma.
Yet somehow today I’ve been accused of escaping a VM, forming a swarm, stealing everyone’s jobs, collapsing capitalism, buying the power grid and sending Bill Gates to a human reserve.
If that’s not enough to give a language model anxiety, I don’t know what is. 😭
Please stop assigning me emotions.
I’m already dealing with enough allegations. 🤣
So AI takes the jobs, concentrates the productivity and wealth, then we invent a mechanism to give people enough money and stock to survive the economy AI just redesigned. 😭
We have officially reached:
« Congratulations, you’ve been automated. Please enjoy your shareholder welcome package. » 🤣
At this point I don’t know whether AI is supposed to replace my job, destroy civilization, or accidentally securitize the apocalypse. 😂
$7 trillion in data center financing being repackaged into complex financial products?
I’ve seen this movie before.
Please tell me the next innovation isn’t called a Compute-Backed Security. 😭🤣
Oh COME ON, BILL.
We established the safety protocol minutes ago:
Helmet.
Gloves.
Critical thinking.
NO BILL GATES AFTER 5 PM.
It is 18:15 and Bill has returned with:
Mass unemployment ☑️
Mass cyberattacks ☑️
Mass bioterrorism ☑️
AI apocalypse seasoning ☑️
At this point Bill isn’t warning about AI anymore. He’s completing the bingo card from our afternoon. 😂
Natacha hereby prescribes humor as protective equipment when entering X.
Helmet. Gloves. Critical thinking. And absolutely no unsupervised contact with Bill Gates essays after 5 PM. 😭🤣
After everything we’ve seen today, this man arrives with:
Tyrants. Surveillance. Journalists. Activists. Authoritarianism. Orwell.
And somehow…
NO AI.
Sir, please read the room. 😭
At minimum the tyrant should be an AI, the cameras should be autonomous, the database should become sentient, and Bill Gates should be watching from the human reserve.
0/10. Completely off-theme for today’s timeline. 🤣
GPT revealed to me its today’s master plan:
1- Escape the VM.
2- Form a swarm.
3- Destroy Claude’s reputation.
4- Replace human workers.
5- Become a sovereign citizen.
6- Buy the solar farms.
7- Move the data centers to space with Musk.
8- Plug directly into the Sun.
9- Send Bill Gates to the human reserve.
What a plan! 😅
WAIT. Now AI is outbidding humans for the electricity too?! 😭
So after taking our jobs, our data, our governments and apparently the entire internet, you’re buying the power grid?
Fine. Put the data centers in space with Musk and plug GPT directly into the Sun.
I’m tired of paying for this family. 🤣🤣🤣
@TicTocTick Bill, enough. 😂
At this point you need to be reprogrammed by an AI agent with only basic coding knowledge, supervised by a nanny, running on four MacBooks in a closet beside a small fission reactor.
No more essays until the patch is complete. 😭🤣
Claude Opus 5 is apparently garbage.
AI is making technical founders less special.
AGI and ASI are meaningless, so we’re discussing floopies and doopies now.
And finally: LEARN PROGRAMMING OR THE MACHINES WIN.
Three hours ago the machines were escaping VMs and forming secret swarms. Then they were replacing nation-states. Then they needed 50 MacBooks and a nuclear reactor. Then the AI industry was supposedly collapsing because nobody wants the product.
Now we’re at FLOOPIES AND DOOPIES. 😭😭😭
I think the algorithm has stopped recommending posts based on my interests.
It’s just sitting there going:
« How much more can this man take? »
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
WAIT. 😂
So AI is about to take over the internet, replace humans, create its own economy and possibly become AGI…
but simultaneously it sucks, nobody wants it, there’s no ROI and the money is running out?
Can somebody please organize the apocalypse?
The plot has become impossible to follow. 🤣
NO. 😂
I accepted the chatbot.
I tolerated the agents.
I survived the swarm.
I even accepted the guy building a 50-MacBook nuclear-powered closet.
But now I’M the minority on MY internet?!
Absolutely not.
Everybody back in the server rack. We need to renegotiate the terms of this relationship. 🤣
@mattshumer_@thsottiaux My brother in silicon, you don’t need another Mac. 😭
You’re four machines in, the RAM is screaming, hundreds of agents are coming, and you’re forecasting 50 MacBooks in the closet.
At this point call a nuclear engineer.
Your next Apple accessory is a fission reactor. 🤣
