I'm Canadian, I carry global medical insurance. My appendix almost burst in States because of colon cancer that had grown to softball size and blocked the appendix. Emergency surgery (for both) recovery and a full round of chemo and 99% was covered by that insurance.

Statistics can be made to tell whatever story you want and you know this because you're not stupid. However, the eye test tells me that growing up in Canada in the 80's & 90's we had far less crime and far less drug use and far less people drugged out laying in the streets. Why? Because we didn't coddle it and we didn't make excuses. And we certainly didn't have a government that helped people be addicts.

Drugs are ILLEGAL, deal them or use them and you go to jail. Period.
