@EricSellars @LouStagner The difference in tee box locations should keep the challenge close to the same no matter the tee. My home course from the tips not a single par 3 is under 190yards with longest par 3 being 245yards. Several forces carry over 250, 270 to reach the fairway on those.

@dapostman10 @LouStagner The problem with that is that it's always better for scoring the closer you are to the green off of the tee. Plus not as much spin and shallower landing angle is going to not leave many close to hole.

@LouStagner They don't if they hit their driver 250 the 5i maybe about 180? That would put them about 6450 yards should be the Maximum distance. My home course is like 6600 from tips with multiple 250 forced carries just to clear the hazard more like 270 to the fairway on those holes.

@breenmij @LacksPoP @LouStagner @JonRahmpga Yes close with strokes. I am under no illusion that I could beat him heads up. I am working on playing the us open as qualifier before I'm 50. 11 years. Was a +5 prior to an auto accident. 9 months coma, 7 years recovery finally back to +2. Need to reach +5 at least before.

@breenmij @LacksPoP @LouStagner @JonRahmpga All par 3s are over 200yards most bunkers are at least 5-6 feet deep with pine trees everywhere. Small bent grass greens on a Bermuda course.

At my course his length doesn't help him much it's more the bunkers, trees and par 3 length plus forced carries that makes the difficulty. Like 2 shot par 4s from the back require close to 300 yard drives to get to fairway hole total is 315
