Truth is apart from where I left off.

There is not even a comprehensive tread on African fashion.

I've never shared this before but...

It's been 1year and 3months since I uprooted my life in Nigeria and moved to Dubai.

One moment I'm just a tourist on vacation...

12days later I'm the guy who has a UAE based company + 3 years residency.

At first it felt like I was about to take over the world.

But when reality struck, it became a horrible nightmare.

Rent $1,5000/month

Food $300-400/month

Transportation $200-300/month

Minus other expenses...

Didn't feel like much of a problem at first.

After all I was making above $10,000/month

But things excalated fast!

Income was declining and bills were piling.

A few months in, I started chasing bills.

It got worse...

In the 5th month, I nearly defaulted on my rent payment.

That's when I had to pump the brakes and restrategize.

I took a 3 hour walk that evening.

Had a deep conversation with myself in the process.

Did I make a wrong decision by scaling too soon?

Why was I chasing bills all of a sudden?

In that moment I realized something big.

An interestingly weird pattern...

I found that I made the most money when bills were around the corner.

Somehow I had become this person REACTIVE shadow of myself.

How on earth did I become this person?

A version of myself that goes against what I stand for.

I knew I couldn't continue on that path.

Or sooner or later I would be back in the trenches.

The following day I woke up HUNGRY!

Hungry for action! Thirsty for results!

From then on, I started treating every day like I was broke.

Showing up more intentionally.

APPLYING PRESSURE DAILY.

That's when everything changed.

Within a few weeks, income got back up and climbed higher than ever.

Started getting more private clients who wanted me to help building and monetizing their personal brand.

All 12week gigs of between $3,000-$5,000 each.

I moved into a much better apartment.

Not in the Burj Khalifa but it has everything I need.

Things aren't where they should be yet...

I'm intensely focused on scaling to $50,000/month.

But the days of chasing bills are long over.

Two things have also become clear in the process:

➊ Building a one-man business is HARD... Being broke is also HARD.

And it's much harder if you only take action when there's a bill to be paid.

You have to APPLY PRESSURE DAILY.

Being PROACTIVE >> Being REACTIVE.

➋ If I could speak to myself in my 20s, I would tell him this...

"It may not be your fault that you were raised without a silver spoon.

But what you do with your TIME today will ultimately determine if your children will grow up poor tomorrow."

You are 100% responsible for your ACTIONS and your OUTCOMES.

REDBULL IS A MARKETING COMPANY NOT AN ENERGY DRINK, SEE THE TRUTH!!!

During one of my research, I stumbled upon this fact and I decided to share it with you.

RedBull is not an energy drink company, they are actually a ruthless marketing agency.

The original Red Bull is called Krating Daeng, and it was created by an entrepreneur in Thailand- Chaleo Yoovidhya in the year 1976.

In 1987 Dietrich Mateschitz joined Chaleo Yoovidhya as co-founder. Part of his success was not only restricted to selling a product but building a brand.

RedBull isn't a regular advertiser, it doesn't do marketing like an average company.

In fact, it doesn't even manufacture drinks itself, yes it doesn't have any manufacturing plant, they outsource the entire manufacturing process to an australian company and focus all their energies into doing what they do best that is "MARKETING".

RedBull's approach to marketing is as unique as it is special. They don’t directly push their products to your face. They use experiential marketing to sell energetic feeling, refreshing experience, feeling of being awake, feeling of being alive.

Instead of putting money on TV, prints, outdoor ads, RedBull associates itself with people and events but allows them to represent these exact emotions.

Their revenue for 2023 was $11 billion dollars, they control 43% of the energy drink market. They sold over 12 billion cans, but they didn't produce any of them.

RedBull owns an F1 racing team, multiple football teams, hockey team and they sponsor major athletes.

They also own Media and Music Company, AlphaTauri-F1 Racing Team, Travel Agency-Destination RedBull, Career Guidance Website-Wingfinder, etc.

Just like drinks, Redbull doesn't create music, clothes, or anything in a travel agency, all of it is outsourced to specialists.

RedBull only concentrates on one thing, "Marketing" which is all about recall and association with a particular type of experience.

It is all about being synonymous with words like energy, adrenaline, crazy, wings, flying, speed, extreme.

By not advertising its product directly Redbull proves that you don't need to show your product on people's faces to convince them to buy it, sometimes all you need is GREAT CONTENT.

What can you get from this story?

You don’t need to own any product or service to MAKE IT BIG IN BUSINESS.

If you’ve been waiting for capital to start your business, this should inspire you to know that with great sales and marketing skills you can become RICH.

If you doubt me, take a cue from the big boys from Jvzoo, Warriorplus, Expertnaire, etc.

It mustn't be a digital product, it can be anything valuable, you don’t have to own it, just partner with a manufacturer or outsource the manufacturing process to a specialist, then stay on marketing.
