BIGHIT MUSIC clarified this in July 2021: there was NO copyright infringement. The claimant had obtained the topline melody directly from Sebastian Garcia, an officially credited “Butter” songwriter. That documented fact alone dismantles the plagiarism narrative being pushed.

The video used sampled material, not plagiarized work. Conflating legitimate sampling with plagiarism is factually misleading. These facts were addressed years ago, yet recycling a previously clarified allegation without the documented context does not make it evidence.
