I am going to say out loud what I have only been whispering, since the media is now running with it.

I call upon the President and congress to declare a national emergency and delay the 2026 midterm elections until such time as elections are made safe and secure. To run another election with fictional voter rolls, unrestricted, unverifiable mail-in ballots and computers with demonstrated vulnerabilities is a brutal disservice to the citizens of the Republic.

If all that can be done through this method is the delay of federal elections, so be it. Each state will have to decide if it wants to run state and local elections and explain to their citizens why they are willing to do so in the face of the federal delay.

If the Supreme Court rules against it, ignore them (see Ex parte Merryman, 1861).
