Who are we from such despairs,
to be lifted up as sons & heirs

To be from broken & alone,
to children of the Father's throne

To be of fear of death & grave,
to raised alive by the blood Christ gave

To be of sin's grasp, a beggars slave,
to the riches of the justified & saved.

Sometimes the process is a painful one of correction in the grace and knowledge of Christ.

Most of us kick violently against God's correction (pride), which produces strife & suffering.

The end result is being stablished in the faith once delivered to the saints: mercy.
