Life goes in one direction which is forward. That doesn't mean it doesn't go up and down. Pain, loss, and failure are what make life so special. Without pain you would not know the true depths of joy. Without loss, you do not realize how much life and time should be cherished. Without failure, you take success for granted. Life is messy, beautiful and chaotic. Wouldn't have it any other way. I'm an artist at life and my magnum opus will be completed when I take my last breath.

So yes it absolutely fucking does matter because the whole argument of self-defense from Anthony's perspective is the push. But if the push is authorized by law as a means of self-defense from a veiled threat plus the reaching motion into a bag which ended up being the weapon that makes Anthony's self-defense moot.

I think you owe it to your children to be young enough to do all the things that a parent should be able to do with their children. Also having children late doesn't give them the same life lessons that they would get watching you as you go through your formative years. If you're 50 and older having children, they didn't see how you became the man you are they only get to hear stories. Words can teach lessons but watching the process as it happens has a larger long lasting impact.

I said when someone lobs the term colonizer today at a white person, what does it mean? It means white people today are rapist, thieves, and killers. It's not just about past atrocities

I know you stopped engaging with me but at least with me it's not about hating black people. My original point was saying someone doesn't have stereotypes is a stereotype in itself. Also saying that white people don't have stereotypes is untrue and many of them do affect negatively how other races and cultures interact with them, especially at first. That's being honest. It is what it is. People are going to do what people are going to do. I served in the Army. I lived with 20 guys and a 10-man tent in Afghanistan for a year and it wasn't homogeneous with regards to racial groups, all that racial shit dissolves and we're just all there as a team working together and helping each other.
