You don’t have to fret about the things in your life that you’re concerned about, but that are outside of your control, because they are under the control of your wise and loving Lord.

God to his people in Isaiah 43:
"You are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you."
There is no "if" or "so long as" after "eyes," "honored," and "you."

In my mind, love is not a romantic feeling. Being IN love, perhaps, but not baseline love. That love is to will the good of others. We can practice that all day, every day, with everyone. Even with people we don’t like. 🙏
