Uber shuts down two African markets and launches robotaxis in London in the same 24 hours.
Everyone's debating if AI takes jobs eventually.
Uber already answered that. It's just running the transition quietly enough that most people are watching the wrong headline.
@millertime_baby Brands spamming Reddit for AI visibility is just link building with a fake moustache.
If the mention only exists because someone was paid to plant it, models and search engines will learn to treat it the same way they learned to treat junk backlinks.
@EthanDriskill “High converting” is doing a lot of work here.
Claude can make something that looks sharp in a screenshot. But until it has real traffic, a real offer and numbers behind it, it’s still a good looking guess.
That’s the gap I still haven’t seen AI close.
@RobHoffman_ Video, testimonials and named experts aren't information gain by themselves though. You can still say the same tired thing in three formats.
The real test is whether the page adds something new that someone can check or use. If it doesn't, it's just better dressed slop.
@rileycx The five hour turnaround is wild, but the bigger bit is the handoff.
They did not have to come back to you for another week of landing pages. They took the system, gave Claude the context and kept moving.
That changes what a website handoff even means.
@jamiepartridge_@yannnis I think people do want the ugly middle, but only after the person wins. The same $82 month becomes "the grind" in a success story and "not worth posting" while it's happening. That's the bit X distorts.
@Nickeubanks I think speed is the advantage right now, but it won't stay rare. Once everyone can ship quickly, taste, trust and distribution matter again. Fast gets you into the game. It doesn't make the work worth choosing.
@axayagrawal@webflow Exactly. If Source is just a cleaner code window, it misses the one thing Webflow already owns. The interesting part is whether the design system and the generated code actually stay connected.
@skyimpact_m Monthly credits are a strange fit for a tool built around iteration. You don't use it evenly. You burn through them when you're deep in a project, then the tool becomes dead weight for the rest of the month.
@DavidGQuaid AI didn't make thin content useful. It just made it cheap enough to publish at stupid scale. Google is now catching up with what that made possible.
60% MCP usage sounds exciting, but it also shows how blind most analytics still are.
A visit no longer has to be a person in a browser. It could be an agent comparing options, pulling data or scraping the whole thing.
Traffic is becoming the easy number. Knowing which agent calls led to a real booking is the useful one.
https://t.co/i2uN5n2Hbd has found some type of market fit
Maintaining traffic even if I don't talk about it and also having lots of MCP usage
Actually 60% is MCP usage! Will investigate, I hope it's real usage and not scraping
@uriel_builds The “while you sleep” line is always the giveaway 😂
You can automate audits, briefs, internal links and loads of the boring work. You still can't automate having something worth saying or worth citing. That's the bit everyone wants to skip.
This will change how sports content gets made and delivered.
The method is Gaussian splatting. It takes video from multiple camera positions and rebuilds the whole thing in three dimensions, viewable from any angle.
Instead of polygons (the way games render), it builds the scene from millions of tiny glowing splats of color and depth. Arcturus runs it across time (4D), so a live game becomes a 3D scene, shown from field level, beside a player, or above the play.
Designers who refuse to learn growth are going to fall behind.
Growth teams that treat design like decoration already have.
A landing page needs to catch attention, make the offer clear and get someone to act.
Splitting those jobs across three teams that barely speak to each other makes no sense anymore.
@argyleink The weird part is teams are rebuilding things around problems AI models may soon stop having.
If the agents already work well with CSS Modules, changing the whole setup for cleaner output feels backwards. The models will get better. The cost of that rebuild won't disappear.
Honestly, Source probably needs to take some work away from Designer. Better Webflow does that itself than let Cursor and Claude do it for them.
The flashy bit is getting AI to build the site. The real test is whether a marketing team can keep changing it six months later without turning the code into a mess nobody wants to touch 😅
AEO is becoming a very handy excuse for a weak offer 😅
If the product is forgettable and every page sounds like it was written for Google, getting quoted by AI won't suddenly make people want it.
Where people find you has changed. The main problem hasn't: nobody cares until you give them a reason.
