@homonymousodd@DrKChilds To reframe this question, teachers are often expected (implicitly or explicitly) to attend their studentsβ extracurricular activities after also putting in 40+ hours, managing a home, helping their own children with homework, raising their children, etc. Why is it different?

I know a few people do this already but I find it really useful for feedback. While marking the mock exams I have a blank version next to me where I note down common misconceptions and strengths. This informs the feedback I give to my students
Me: I wonder what the 5th letter of the alphabet is.
e: I got you.
Me: I also wonder what the limit of (1+1/n)^n is as n -> β
e: You're not going to believe this.
Teachers love Admin who:
1) roll up their sleeves to help
2) Really Listen
3) Who are present: in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, lunchroom
4) Value Teachers time (planning, meetings, after school)
5) Support/encourage them
6) check on/ check in with them
7) Have their back
