Result: Tryhards 0 - 2 Red Lion
With only a handful of games to play now and some tough games coming this game was a must win. It wasn’t to be as Red Lion showed their quality scoring both goals in the first half. We showed some resilience in the second but it wasn’t enough.
Would really appreciate a 'retweet' from all my Twitter friends for a business I am involved in. This is going to be our first tournament for two years. Many Thanks
RESULT: Try Hards 0 - 1 Snockers
In what was a bit of a jumbled together squads due to injuries and covid, the match was low on quality from our side conceding the only goal and not being able to find a goal once again a run of 4 games without a goal now and relegation close..
Result: Try hards 0 - 0 TDWI
Yet another draw between us and TDWI, this time we were by far the better team hitting the post 3 times and forcing their keeper into some magnificent saves. Our defence was solid limiting their chances to just 1 throughout the whole game.
RESULT: Tryhards 0 - 0 MM7
In a once sided stalemate, we soaked in the pressure of the frequent MM7 attacks, we had some chances ourself but a draw was the result and our defence are very much to thank for the 1 point. #UTTH
RESULT: Try Hards 0 - 1 MOZF
With the last clash finishing 3-3 we came into the game ready for some end to end attacking. We weren’t disappointed with big chances either side throughout, the difference this time was only 1 goal was scored and that was for MOZF. Nxt week it’s MM7
Tryhard FC stat for the 8th December..
8 games have been won by Tryhard FC 1-0 in their 90 matches played. @mrkillerkillen leads the way in winners here with 3 of them 👏
7th December..
One of the Tryhards founding members @denver_burke has scored 7 goals for the tryhards. When he scores he hasn't been on the losing side with 6 wins and a draw. He's also fairly handy in goal, playing a big part in this Monday's win against Red Lion FC 👏
MATCH: Tryhards 2 - 1 Red Lion
Against another new team who have had a tough run of fixtures, we came into the game not knowing what to expect. This was echoed when RL took the lead.. However the boys came back thanks to goals from Ross Stanley and @MNewton925 securing the win.
