We've grown 3x since April, crossed X M in ARR, and are hiring more folks to join our small lean team
The only requirement for us is you are AI native, can spend more than $20k a month in tokens, and can figure things out in an extremely fast paced environment
We don't have a PM, we don't have issues, tickets, etc., we don't have a CRM. We operate on Slack and we operate with super high context
Engineering: you have experience building recommendation systems, bidding platforms
Sales: you have experience selling into enterprises while balancing super short sales cycles
Support: you have experience doing support with explicit SLAs and response time thresholds
You will have meaningful equity ownership, and we will work together to scale Lapis from X M ARR to XX M ARR
We've been growing super fast at Lapis and have more inbound than we can reliably handle, and are hiring for two very important roles.
These will be the first external hires we've made since our founding days, and we'd love to work with people who want to work in a super small team where they can own a lot of things at once without feeling overwhelmed.
If you want to be a founder a couple years down the line and learn at a fast growing startup, or are from a somewhat non-tech background and have skills that can be easily applied to tech, this would be a great fit for you.
- Sales: someone who has preferably sold software before and is comfortable demo'ing a technical product to a non technical audience.
- Support: someone who understands the customer journey really well and can own customer feedback
We operate fully on Slack, we don't do tickets, and we don't do Linear issues. What needs to be fixed will be fixed the same day and we operate with a very high degree of urgency since we're dealing with large enterprise clients (many household names people will be familiar with).
You can be located anywhere for this role, as long as you can work full Pacific Time hours, from 10am to 10pm. In practice, this means working 8-10 hours every day. We care much more about making a great product that makes our customers happy than about performative work.
Compensation:
Sales: 220k OTE
Support: 120k
If this interests you, please DM me with a resume / website / something that shows the person you are and the work you do
A lot of people joking about this but this is how the small business economy fundamentally runs outside of X and tech jobs
People need to advertise their value prop and get customers without a ton of free floating debt / venture money. Posters like this are one of the most effective ways to do so
SF!!! we’re officially on PB&J duty today 🥜
