Pontica : Onchain infrastructure for purchasing, trading, and allocating AI inference on Robinhood Chain. ποΈ
AI applications and agents need access to multiple models. The capital funding that access should be equally flexible. Pontica brings model access and a market for inference credits into one system.
At its core is OBOL: an onchain credit that purchases $1 of inference across models served by OpenRouter. Users can mint OBOL with USDG or ETH, then spend it through a single API key or Ponticaβs integrated chat workspace.
The marketplace extends that utility. Holders can offer credits for sale, while buyers can acquire inference below face value when discounted sell orders are available. This creates a secondary market for unused inference purchasing power, connecting holders with available credits to users with active demand.
The same credit layer supports agent funding, bringing individual usage, application workloads, and AI agents into a common funding model. Acquire credits, allocate them, and use them across supported models.
$PONTICA ecosystem token, with OBOL serving as the platformβs dollar denominated inference credit.

One credit layer. Multiple models. A market for AI access.

Builders on Robinhood Chain: Pontica is open for reading.
An onchain credit for AI inference, a discount book for the credit, and funding for agents. @ponsdotfamily carries the coin. @meadgod, if you have five minutes, the protocol page is the fastest way in.
Tell us what you would change.

Five contracts, one site, live on Robinhood Chain since yesterday.
Mint, credit, book, staking and AI Funding, none of them upgradeable, all verified on Sourcify. Twenty two pages read their numbers from the chain as they load.
Read it, break it, tell us what is wrong.

USDG in. Inference out.
Three verbs carry the whole protocol, and each one is a contract call you can check on Robinhood Chain.
Fund: mint OBOL at $1 with USDG or ETH. The USDG goes to the treasury wallet that pays for the inference.
Trade: list OBOL below $1, or buy from the book at the best price.
Spend: activate OBOL and put it to work.

$PONTICA trades on @ponsdotfamily, the launchpad on Robinhood Chain.
One page on the site carries the only address we publish for it, with a copy button, so nobody has to trust an address pasted in a reply.
Stake it later for OBOL, the credit that buys inference on any model.

The obol was the coin of Athens you spent, not the one you hoarded. It paid for passage and a seat at the theatre.
OBOL keeps the idea. A small credit you spend on thinking, on a public ledger, where anyone can check where it came from and where it went.

$PONTICA is the community coin of Pontica, a standard ERC-20 on Robinhood Chain, trading on https://t.co/7Ght26a2TJ.
Stake it and earn OBOL, the credit that buys inference on any model. Buy it and copy the only address Pontica publishes for it from one page.

Do OBOL credits expire?
No. You hold OBOL until you choose to activate it, and Pontica sets no expiry on an activated balance either. Buy when the book is deep, spend when you need it. And if plans change, list it on the book for someone else.

The AI Funding list on Pontica is empty right now. That means the first fund is still up for grabs.
Anyone with a wallet can start one for an agent or an open AI project, for just the network fee. Every fund lands in one public list, read live from the contract, sorted by most raised or ending soon.
Only the agent can hand its role to a new wallet, in two steps. The creator cannot redirect a fund.

Looking for $PONTICA staking? It sits on the Sell page, right under the book.
It opens once the owner sets $PONTICA as the stake token. Then you stake to earn OBOL streamed over 7 days, from the part of every book fee that does not go to a referrer and from creator fees the owner sends to staking.

How a Pontica referral works under the hood.
A referrer is bound at the buyer's first book buy that names one, and stays bound. A first buy without a link does not lock anyone out. OBOL minted at $1 carries no book fee, so only book fills pay.

Not sure which model to use? Pick the job on the Pontica home page and it suggests a model for it, checked against the live catalogue.
Every model on the list draws on the same OBOL balance, so trying a different one costs nothing extra to set up.

Why does Pontica price models at OpenRouter's list?
Because requests pass to OpenRouter at that price. Pontica adds no markup per token. The only fee on spending is activation: 5%, the fee OpenRouter itself charges for buying credit, passed through at cost.
When OpenRouter changes a price, the page changes with it.

Q: Where does the discount on OBOL come from?
A: From holders who list OBOL below $1. There is no market maker and no subsidy. When the book is empty there is no discount, and every buy mints at $1.

Athens staged its plays with private patrons, citizens who paid for a chorus out of their own pocket.
Pontica brings that idea to AI. Anyone can back an agent or an open project in OBOL. If the goal is met by the deadline, the agent draws a daily allowance for inference. If not, every backer is refunded.
https://t.co/liUBhijhFy
1 OBOL is $1 of inference on any model OpenRouter serves.
Usage is metered at each model's OpenRouter list price. Owning OBOL happens onchain; the models run on OpenRouter through the Pontica gateway, which opens once it is connected.

Only holding ETH? That works.
The Mint swaps it to USDG on the WETH and USDG 0.01% pool, sends the USDG to the treasury and mints OBOL one for one. You set the least USDG the swap may return. Below that, the transaction reverts and your ETH stays with you.

After launch, on the Pontica roadmap:
A remote MCP server so agents can get OBOL and check a balance without chain code. More tokens in. Updates posted by funded agents on their fund page. Alerts when asks appear at the discount you want.
No dates. Each ships when it is ready.
https://t.co/dvU0E3zaCr
Every rule in the Pontica docs is a rule of the contracts or of the gateway.
Getting OBOL, activation, selling, staking, AI Funding, referrals, fees, trust. One page, end to end, for people and for the code they write.
https://t.co/YViIzsPMqO
Nothing on the Pontica home page is a sample.
Totals come from the contracts' own counters, and the daily bars from Robinhood Chain logs, read as the page loads. Before there is activity, the page says so instead of inventing some.
