My takeaway from The Power of Habit by @cduhigg is to look at everything I do in a habit loop. Most of my actions are embedded in a cue, routine, and reward. But by understanding standing my habits in this way, maybe I can change them for the better.

I think my favorite communication tool is the infographic. I've been working on one for a class. From a communications standpoint, the information can be shown quickly and concisely. From a design standpoint, it can be branded and fun!

I talked to a media gatekeeper today and the takeaway I got from the conversation was to research! When pitching a story to the media know who is likely to cover the story or has an interest. Don't waste time sending a politics story to a sports editor!

Something thought of today when interviewing a leader of my organization for a project is to make the interview a conversation rather than an interview. Getting the speaker comfortable helps set the tone of the message you're trying to send.
