This day, the Sun will be 152,088,000 km from the Earth, farther away than at any other time during 2026.

On June 18, 2026, the moon will align with Saturn and Neptune, becoming visible in the eastern sky during the early morning hours. This alignment will occur just hours after the moon reaches its third quarter phase.

On June 9th overall in the West after Sunset Jupiter and Venus will be Conjunction, meaning they will be close together. Venus will be the brighter of the two. Mercury should also be visible near the horizon.
