@Quepicun @dylangarrett23 @tom_mellor1991@RundellOwen@CallofDuty If they don't then I wouldn't be the dumb one. It would be Activision. Unless the microtransactions are only cosmetic. Loot boxes have always been frowned upon, and so have been game-changing microtransactions.
@Quepicun @dylangarrett23 @tom_mellor1991@RundellOwen@CallofDuty I don't know what kind of world you live on but Treyarch already talked about microtransactions in Cold War. Go search it up.
@Plaegu@CallofDuty Really? I know it was kinda putting the storyline same as gameplay, but I don't remember it forcing you to do the easter egg, doing it didn't really give you anything special or anything. Maybe you're talking about BO4?
@Quepicun @dylangarrett23 @tom_mellor1991@RundellOwen@CallofDuty But BO4 was a massive flop. Do you not think Treyarch would learn from their failed game? And lately, microtransactions have been largely frowned upon, they wouldn't want to lose sales because of some extra 2$.
@tom_mellor1991@RundellOwen@CallofDuty Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Just be happy you don't have to pay for the full game twice. Cause that's how it's always worked.
