@8_24Mambalytics@WillyMoe19 Game 2 of the finals. Where poor little Kobe hurt his ankle after scoring 2 points.
Who won that game? Again, finals…the round where you actually win a championship.
@8_24Mambalytics@WillyMoe19 You all wanted to keep digging yourself in this hole.
Kobe’s not top 5. You don’t have anything to back up him being in the top 5. He’s just a career sidekick.
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics I mean one very important game and winning the championship does swing things.
Hypothetically, if ray allen misses the shot in 2013 and lebron loses that series, wouldn’t that hurt his case?
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics Yes, hypothetically being healthy for that final game, so Magic doesn’t drop 42, 15, and 7 as a rookie, without his teams best player, to win finals MVP might make him better than Magic all time.
But that didn’t happen. Kareem was hurt, Magic showed up big and won.
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics Do stats and accolades hurt your feelings? Tatum was the better player. But he didn’t show up when it mattered most. I’m not sure why that makes you upset.
@PabloLaceht2g@8_24Mambalytics@WillyMoe19 Point guard gets his teammates open shots. Yes Steph did it with scoring and spacing. KD was the better player during their championship runs. Not sure what’s hard to understand about that.
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics Kareem would actually have more if he didn’t get injured in 1980. He would have taken one away from Magic. I know the math is so difficult for you.
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics I didn’t say it was all that mattered. But I do know Tatum played horribly that series and the Celtics don’t win without Jaylen Brown leading the way in that finals.
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics Again with the terrorist mentions. Seems to be an overlap between Kobe fans and racists.
But go ahead and ask your question. It’s fun seeing you jump through hoops like this.
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics I said close as the greatest laker. KAJ won 3 MVPs and 1 FMVP as a buck.
Jordan, LeBron, Magic, Kareem, Duncan, Shaq, Bill Russell.
Kobe doesn’t have a case for being top 5 over any of them.
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics lol “alpha” what a stupid ass term. But yes, he won in 2017 and 2018 as the clear “alpha” and took home 2 FMVPs. In 2019, when he got hurt, curry couldn’t get it done.
And with that, we still have KD having more scoring titles and more first team all nba.
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics I said Kareem was the best player that series. You obviously have trouble with reading comprehension.
But yes, Magic played the final game of the playoffs without Kareem and won the lakers a championship and took home FMVP. That’s just a fact.
@8_24Mambalytics@WillyMoe19 Magic has same number of rings, more MVPs and more finals MVPs. And brought a winning culture to LA. They won 1 title in LA before Magic.
It’s close between him and Kobe. But Magic made the LA lakers into a championship organization.
@WillyMoe19@8_24Mambalytics Think you mean few weeks earlier, if you’re talking about the 2016 WCF. And again, if Steph was so great, why did KD win back to back FMVPs while on “his” team.
2016 finals, with Cavs winning, shows warriors probably only won in 2015 because Cavs were injured.
