A great week for my new musical, The Lucky Break. On Monday we had a very successful staged reading in San Diego. On Tuesday we were invited to perform in a showcase of new musicals at The Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood. This is a highlight from Tuesday.

So I am taking away that false-power by henceforth not recognizing the term "Cancel Culture" and renaming it what it really is and what racists hate:

I am, sadly, not at all surprised anymore that horrible racists (redundant) are everywhere. What surprises me is that their urge to express that racism is so strong, that even knowing that someone is probably going to have a phone out recording what they say, they will give up

Translation - Remember when we could say whatever racist sh*t we wanted and get away with it? Finally, make no mistake, calling it "Cancel Culture" is just the age-old tactic of victim blaming and shaming and trying to make us think that the racists are the real victims.
