In no way do I think that the guy recording should have gotten involved. There would be two bodies. However, if it were legal for a law abiding citizen to peacefully own firearms, this could have ended with a different deaf person. Keep the guns from the people who need to protect themselves from those who have no desire to obey laws. LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD and better yet, make it uneven. Fighting back and killing some evil people might make a bigger impact than gun free zones. RIP to the decedent.

Sure. I’ve been there myself but it doesn’t make it safe or even legal. Drop you load and cause damage and the insurance company won’t pay based on the police report. They love to prove negligence. Unfortunately ignorance doesn’t always equal innocence when it comes to being accountable for mistakes.

Often times the helicopter manufacturer or local airframe maintenance company will do tests like this in helicopters that have reached their expiration date. They then require a complete overhaul and inspection and have to be recertified. Where I worked we would have a few out at a time doing tests and observations.
