I think it must be a kind of mental illness to go to another place in the world and treat it as a theme park. Act as if it isn't a city where normal people live. Cities, shops, restaurants, shrines, temples, parks, streets, trains and plazas that normal people use everyday, public areas to be enjoyed, not to worry about being thwacked with a stick.
