Year 7 have worked hard on making kites this term and then had loads of fun testing them out! Well done!!

Yr10 have been creating desk lamps using Timbers as the main material. They've worked hard creating workable lamps with bridle joints, a range of different shades from fabric to plastic & a variety of timber bases some of which spin 360! Mrs Neesam & Mr Calpin are very impressed!

Ever wondered why a phone slows down towards the end of its contract or why foods come with best before dates? These are examples of planned obsolescence. Four types of planned obsolescence are: Functional Defects, Planned Expiration, Indirect Expiration & Aesthetic Obsolescence

Do you recycle at home? Composting waste food, tins and bottles, cardboard... Are there opportunities to recycle when you're out and about? What are companies doing now to help us to recycle, are they changing the way they do things? What could we do better?
